📐 Fit Check: Base Cabinet Requirements
This sink is 33" wide × 18" deep and requires a cabinet opening wider than 33". For standard cabinets, a 36" farmhouse base cabinet is recommended. For custom builds, confirm the exact opening and cabinet support with your cabinet maker.
A 33" sink does not fit a 33" cabinet. The cabinet must be wider to accommodate the apron front, mounting hardware, and countertop overhang. For a 33" base cabinet, please see this 30" farmhouse sink.
Detailed requirements are in the Product Specifications and Documents sections on this page.

Sink came very well packaged. This sink is gorgeous. Very heavy and well constructed. I can’t wait to install it!!
Excellent customer service. Have been using it for 2 months and its holding up well. Quality is great. Would highly recommend.
I ordered a Bocchi Classico 33" Fireclay Farmhouse Sink. Fast delivery and sink was impeccable.
This sink is exactly what we were looking for. It is very well made and pretty heavy. We haven't installed it yet but it arrived on time and was packed very well
I ordered a Bocchi Classico 33" Fireclay Farmhouse Sink. I really wanted a white equal double bowl sink and The Sink Boutique had it. The ordering process was seamless and the delivery time was amazing. The sink has arrived in good condition and I can't wait for it to be installed.
We purchased the 50/50 farmhouse sink for our new kitchen that we're installing. Our order arrived withiin a week of ordering, which was very covenient. As advised, we opened the package to ensure there was no damage to the product, and noted that it was extremely well packaged for shipping. We decided to keep it in its original packaging until we're ready to install, knowing that it will be very safe in our rehab zone! But before we sealed the box back up I could not help but caress the sink, several times! It feels wonderful, and we can hardly wait to drop it into our sink base when the time comes! This is a very high quality product, it has no imperfections or flaws of any type, and has a lovely subtle glossy finish. We are extremely happy with our purchase, and the price was great too!
We are quite pleased with the sink. It is beautiful and adds a unique touch to our kitchen. The finish is perfect.
It came well packaged. No damage. We installed it and it works great! Highly recommended.
Product was delivered in great shape according to my builder. Sink was purchased online and is exactly what I was looking for. An apron sink with a 50/50 bowl is uncommon and I hadn’t been able to purchase elsewhere. This is perfect.
Love it. Fast shipping
I loved the sink, particularly the price. I will definitely be back for more items.
Shopping and ordering was easy. Sink arrived early. We haven't put in yet but plan to in the next week or so.
I absolutely love this sink, it’s perfect size, it is very well made and it is beautiful!
Fabulous service, package arrived in perfect condition. Love my new sink!
The ordering process was easy and the product was as described when delivered. It even came with free crates and drains. We would definitely purchase from The Sink Boutique again.
Excelent product, beautiful, best quality. I'll recommend it 100%. I received it súper fast!! And the customer service is five stars!!!! I am very happy with my selection!!!
Absolutely perfect!
Fast shipping, great customer service, no breakage
Exactly as specified. Most drop-in double farm sinks list for over $1000, this one is fairly priced including grates and drains. Love it!
Gorgeous double bowl farm sink. So happy with my purchase.
I was looking for a sink with a 60/40 split and I came across this sink with the sink grids included. Small compromise but I am thrilled to get it installed. It's a beauty.
The customer service rep was extremely patient with me. Very professional. The sink is gorgeous and has a good finish. Need to install it and I'm excited.
Dealing with the sink boutique was nice and theire customer service is great. However, the sink Bocchi I bouth scratches even if a feather falls on it. Great disappointment and Bocchi’s customer service is non existent. They have not gotten back to me!!!
Your website was easy to use, your follow up was professional and your business is very efficient.Thank you! I love my new sink!!
What is the required cabinet size for this sink?
For farmhouse sinks, the recommended base cabinet is at least 3 inches wider than the sink to allow for proper installation. For this sink, the recommended minimum base cabinet size is 36 inches.
Just ordered new Kitchen cabinets. The sink cabinet is a deep 36' inch base. I was going to order the 33' sink. My contractor is telling me I can only use a 30' sink otherwise he will have to cut the new cabinet. This is contrary to what your instructions say. Who do I believe?
For Farmhouse Sinks the recommended base cabinet size is 3" more than the width of the sink. But this is the minimum recommendation and we always recommend as well that you follow your contractor's advice as every installation is unique and your contractor will know exactly what your cabinet can carry.
Can this be mounted as a drop-in
This sink is not a top mount sink and the recommended installation is under-mount with apron front visible. Here is a link to the installation instructions (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2660/4504/files/Installation_Instructions_for_Bocchi_Vigneto_Contempo_and_Classico_Sinks_-_TSB.pdf?708066119682263098) for your review.
Is the bottom of the sink sloped so it drains well? Or is it flat? (I don't water water pooling in the bottom..)
The bottom is slightly sloped to the drain. Please refer to spec sheet (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2660/4504/files/1139_KitchenSink_TechnicalSheet_SS1004-V2-0918.pdf?14320458286842380269) linked (page 2).
Does it come with a template for countertops?
Due to the fireclay process, dimensions may vary hence templates are not provided. Please use the actual sink that you will be installing in order to determine the cutout dimensions for your countertop.
