With the firing in our kilns up to 2000 F temperatures, Fireclay becomes the most durable material used in today's kitchens. Thus, dealing with extreme heat coming from pots and pans is definitely not a problem. Due to their special glaze coating fused with the fireclay body, our sinks have a non-porous, uniform, scratch and stain resistant surface. Hi , what is the with from front to back on the double bowl?
The outer dimension of the sink from front to back is 16.5". Here is the specifications sheet for your review.

My black sink has lost its shine! How do I clean the film off it?
That should be limescale build up on the surface. Simple spray white vinegar on the entire surface, wait for couple of mins and rinse the area to get the shine back. Bar keepers friend can be used on heavier/sturdier stains.
