Do I have to seal the NativeStone sink before installation? How often do you recommend the sink be sealed?
The NativeStone sinks are pre-sealed and sealing is not necessary during installation but will be needed with use. Please see link regarding the care of Native Stone sinks.

Can you share the template for this sink?
Due to the inherent variation in dimensions of this handcrafted concrete sink, no templates are provided. We highly recommend waiting to receive your actual sink before making any cuts in the countertop. Here is a link to the product specifications for your perusal.

How do you care for this sink? Is it easy?
For regular maintenance, simply use mild, non-abrasive soap and cleaners. The sealer is stain and scratch-resistant; however, normal care should be exercised, and abrasives avoided. Wipe or rinse the sink after use for best results. If your NativeStone product needs to have its sealer refreshed, we recommend our NativeStone Sealer. Here is a link to the product care guide.

What is NativeStone?
Introduced by Native Trails in 2014, NativeStone is an innovative, remarkably strong new material used to make the NativeStone collection of kitchen, bar/prep, and bath sinks. Like concrete, we use cement and other materials to make NativeStone. But NativeStone is not your typical concrete. NativeStone is made from concrete reinforced with natural jute fiber (on the inside of the sink), a remarkably strong and sustainable material. The result is a product much lighter in weight than standard concrete (which is typically reinforced with rebar), as well as an extremely crack-resistant product.

The Sink Boutique has a great variety of high end products, so it was an excellent shopping experience. The only problem was that when I received my Native Trails concrete farmhouse sink it was completely broken, only the bottom was in tact—that is the reason for giving only 3 stars. I have to say that their customer service was excellent, they promptly refunded me for the broken sink. I purchased a different Native Trails sink from The Sink Boutique and it was delivered in perfect condition. I highly recommend this company.
