Our current apron farmhouse sink is 30”. You state that the base cabinet should be 3” wider than the sink. Our opening is only 30”. Will this sink fit? If not, do you have another sink that will fit a 30” opening?
For Farmhouse Sinks the recommended base cabinet size is 3" more than the width of the sink as it gives you a proper fit for the undermount application and allows some spacing for pipping, dishwasher hoses, garbage disposable, or faucet hoses, and connections. I was initially very excited to install the LaToscano composite granite sink and ordered it in July thinking my contractor would have time in between our vacation rental reservations to work in the kitchen but we had. Has several setback. But now in October we are ready to go with the kitchen cabinets and countertops and needed the sink but come to find out I was sink the incorrect color. So disappointed. Don’t see how this went wrong
