Crestwood artisan crafted fireclay sinks are an exquisite blend of durability and versatility drawing upon knowledge and techniques that have been passed down through the generations. Fireclay is a unique form of ceramic which uses a specialized high temperature firing process to fuse the glaze to the clay vastly improving the strength and integrity of the material providing superb resistance to staining and chipping. The result is a highly durable sink with a luxurious appearance that perfectly compliments both traditional and modern kitchens.

This sink states Charcoal in color and I read the disclaimer about the color. Would you say it's a dark gray or more of a black color and is it matte?
The finish of the CW-MOD-362-DBL-CHARCOAL Crestwood sink is dark grey in color.
The finish is actually what we like to call a semi-matte finish as it is not shiny like a porcelain or cast iron sink and it is not dull like a matte finish. It meets somewhere in the middle and gives the sink an elegant look.
