Questions & Answers
Have a Question?
-
Can I pour in boiling water down the sink or place hot pans in it?
The NativeStone sinks are sealed with a nano sealer that will withstand high heat, however, it is recommended that you allow hot water, pots, and pans to cool before placing in the sink.
-
Do I have to buy a Native Trails drain with this sink?
Native Trails has high quality drains that are designed to work with Native Trails sinks, and they do have some differentiating features. They work well with both thicker-walled sinks (such as NativeStone®) or thin-walled sinks such as copper. We cannot ensure that another manufacturer’s drain will work with this sink.
-
Can I use plumbers putty to install the drain on this sink?
No, NativeTrails strongly advise against the use of plumbers putty with the products, as it may harm the finish. Use of silicone is recommended.
-
Are the concrete sinks sealed?
Yes, we can use an exclusive low-VOC nano sealer that protects the surface from water penetration and staining; a sealed NativeStone sink has a slight sheen to it but is by no means high-shine. All sinks are shipped pre-sealed and ready for installation.
-
Does this sink require a different drain?
These sinks require a standard 3.5" drains.
-
Is the split on this sink a 60/40?
Yes, this sink has a 60/40 basin split.
