With the firing in our kilns up to 2000 F temperatures, Fireclay becomes the most durable material used in today's kitchens. Thus, dealing with extreme heat coming from pots and pans is definitely not a problem. Due to their special glaze coating fused with the fireclay body, our sinks have a non-porous, uniform, scratch and stain resistant surface. With its protective bottom grid and distinctive looks, BOCCHI Sinks are truly crafted to match your design and functional desires.

Can this be undermounted without the apron showing? Also, is the finish glossy or matte?
Yes. This sink model is meant to be under-mounted and is not an apron/farmhouse sink. This model is glossy white.

Don't the fireclay need a supporting structure due to the weight. They did on the farmhouse apron front, but the undermount doesn't show that.
Yes, these sinks are heavy and need to be supported by the base of the sink. The cabniet maker can construct a wooden frame to support the sink. Here is a link to the installation instructions (the instruction about the base cabinet is mentioned on page 2)

Will this fit into a 30” base cabinet?
Yes, this sink will fit in a 30" base cabinet. Here is a link to the specifications sheet for your review.

Does it include Undermount clips for installing with wood countertops?
The Fireclay sinks are not installed using clips. The installation is done by building a wooden frame that carries the sink. Installed 1/16" below the countertop. Here's a link to Bocchi Installation Instruction.

All Bocchi fireclay sinks are made in Bocchi factories in Europe-- specifically Istanbul, Turkey.
