Can this be used as an outdoor sink?
Yes, for outdoor we recommend this sink and any Fireclay sinks. Any of the Fireclay sinks will be great for outdoor use. They can handle the heat, the cold and the frost icy weather too.

Will this fit a 21 inch base cabinet?
This sink will fit atleast a 23"+ farmhouse base cabinet or a custom cabinet built for the sink. Due to the fireclay process, the dimensions provided of the sink are nominal and may vary. Please use the actual sink that you will be installed in order to determine the cutout dimensions for your cabinetry or countertop.

Does the glaze contain lead?
The glaze on Bocchi fireclay sinks does not contain lead.

Can the BOCCHI Classico 20" Fireclay Farmhouse Apron Single Bowl Kitchen Sink 1136-001-0120 be installed 90 degrees from its intended orientation? In other words - having the shorter dimension (18") as the front of the sink. Will it fit into a 21" cabinet in this orientation? Thanks.
An 18" sink might fit in a 21" base cabinet if turned sideways, but with limitations. The main concern is depth - there might not be enough space for both the 20" sink and the faucet.
Here's what to consider:
- Measure carefully: Ensure there's enough leftover depth after faucet installation.
- Comfort: Make sure that you are okay with a faucet positioned further back.
- Visual aesthetics: Consider if a sideways sink would look awkward.
- Cabinet suitability: Verify the 21" base is designed for apron-front sinks (less common in smaller sizes).
If these conditions are met, then turning the sink is a possibility.
