With the firing in our kilns up to 2000F temperatures, Fireclay becomes the most durable material used in today's kitchens. Thus, dealing with extreme heat coming from pots and pans is definitely not a problem. Due to their special glaze coating fused with the fireclay body, our sinks have a non-porous, uniform, scratch and stain resistant surface. Does this sink work with laminate countertops?
Yes, It does work with laminate countertops.

What are the hole sizes for the faucet?
The sizes of the faucet hole are 1 3/8” (35mm). Here is the Spec Sheet that you can review.

Will this sink fit a standard kitchen cabinet? What is the apron height?
Yes, this sink fits most standard cabinetry or is retrofitted to existing standard cabinetry. The apron height is 8-inches. Here's the Product Specification that you can check.

Can this sink have a disposal attached to it?
Yes, this sink can accommodate a garbage disposal.

Why does this say minimum require space is 36” inches when the inside dimensions are only 32”? Wouldn’t a 33” cabinet work and give you an inch of clearance?
Yes, the minimum cabinet size required for this sink is 36" as it gives you a proper fit for the undermount application and allows some spacing for pipping, dishwasher hoses, garbage disposable or faucet hoses, and connections.
You can always consult your installer for the best recommendations.

Can the top and side borders of this sink be installed underneath my countertops with just the apron front outside? For a flushed look, instead of the borders being mounted over the counter?
Bocchi confirmed that installing as an undermount is doable but not recommended.
Extra work is required because the sink edges should not touch the countertop. -
I would like to install this sink into my existing granite counter (due to a crack that has formed along the front of the sink area). The current cut out area of the granite for my existing undermounted sink is 33" across. I see in the instruction that 3/4" is recommended on the sides for mounting. Will 1/2" be sufficient? This is the only option I can find to fit my space.
Yes it would be sufficient, however the sink needs to be secured to prevent skipping off the counter.

The Bocchi Nuevo 34 in. States that the minimum cabinet size is 36 in. Then just below that it states cabinet must be 3 in. Bigger than the sink which would be a 37 in. Base cabinet which one do I believe?
It is 34” wide, which is on top of the countertop
The part of the sink that is inside the cabinet is 32” wide.
Therefore, any cabinet bigger than 34” will work for the SOTTO 1500 / NUEVO 1501 sinks as they are drop in sinks, that hang on top of the countertop.

Wow, this is a great sink! Purchased in glossy white which makes cleaning a breeze. I’ll never go back to stainless. Sink was installed two days ago; very happy! I chose a white, single sink. It’s big and beautiful. Customer service was attentive & knowledgeable and helped me choose the best option for our space. When there was a shipping issue, they attended to that immediately.
